At approximately 3:04 p.m. on February 13, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined two juvenile female suspects entered the business, concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. Responding officers observed the suspects exit the business and attempted to take them into custody. While detaining Suspect One, she became irate and kicked an officer before being taken into custody along with Suspect Two. The officer sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. During the course of the investigation, the stolen merchandise was recovered. Petitions for the juvenile suspects are pending. An additional petition for Assault on Police was obtained for Suspect One.
