At approximately 12:24 p.m. on April 4, officers were conducting a fare evasion enforcement at the Pentagon City Metro Station when the male suspect approached the officers, began acting disorderly and made threatening statements. Officers issued commands to the non-compliant suspect who refused to leave the area. The officers then attempted to detain the suspect, during which he resisted and attempted to kick three officers before he was taken into custody. No officers reported any injuries. Medics evaluated the suspect on scene. Jerrell Mosley, 26, of Washington, DC was arrested and charged with Assault on Police (x3), Obstruction of Justice (x2) and Public Intoxication.
