At approximately 4:54 p.m. on June 1, an officer observed a large group of individuals fighting outside of a business. The officer approached the group and issued commands during which the female suspect struck the officer. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody and the officer did not report any injuries. A warrant was obtained for Georgett Hernandez Oliva, 18, of Alexandria, Va. for Assault on Police. The Alexandria Police Department assumed custody of the suspect and was the primary investigating agency for the incident.
