Officers responded to the 3200 block of Columbia Pike for a report of a larceny at a business. According to police, a female suspect allegedly received beauty services and left the establishment without paying.
A responding officer located the suspect walking nearby and attempted to take her into custody. During the arrest, the suspect allegedly struck the officer. No injuries were reported.
Mecca Keller, 41, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Petit Larceny, and Public Intoxication. She was held without bond.
