A routine fare evasion stop at the Pentagon City Metro Station escalated into a violent encounter when a juvenile male resisted arrest, prompting officers to call for backup. During the incident, an adult woman rushed toward officers, shouting and striking two of them.
The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Shaketa Johnson of Washington, DC, continued to resist while being taken into custody. She sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention. Johnson now faces multiple charges, including two counts of assault on police, obstruction of justice, and disorderly conduct.
