Arlington County police are investigating an attempted burglary at an occupied residence on Key Boulevard.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Key Boulevard at approximately 8:49 a.m. on August 7 after receiving a delayed report of suspicious circumstances.
Investigators determined that sometime between approximately 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., one or more suspects attempted to force entry into the victim’s occupied residence before leaving the scene.
Police did not provide a description of the suspect or suspects. The investigation remains ongoing.
