Location: 4200 block of N. Pershing Drive, Arlington VA
Time: Approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 21
Arlington County police are investigating an attempted unlawful entry that occurred overnight on North Pershing Drive.
Investigators say two male residents were inside their home when one suspect knocked on the door and asked to be let inside. One of the residents confronted the man and told him to leave.
A short time later, the resident heard a noise and discovered a second suspect allegedly attempting to open a window to the residence. After the victim threatened to call police, both suspects fled the area on foot.
Officers searched the neighborhood but were unable to locate the suspects.
Suspect One is described as a heavy-set Black male with facial hair, approximately 40 years old, wearing gray clothing. Suspect Two is described as a male of unknown race, approximately 40 years old, wearing a white hat and red shirt.
The investigation is ongoing.
