At approximately 4:03 p.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and attempted to exit without payment during which loss prevention personnel confronted him. The suspect dropped the merchandise and struck the loss prevention personnel before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 20-30 years old wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
