At approximately 10:15 a.m. on February 8, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect allegedly entered the business, concealed items and upon being confronted by loss prevention personnel, struck them before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and a responding officer located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the 1400 block of S. Joyce Street and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspect was wanted out of another jurisdiction. Floyd Robinson, 40, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery and served with the outstanding warrants.
