Police are searching for a suspect after a dispute between two acquaintances escalated into a physical altercation involving a firearm.
Officers responded to a residence in the 4400 block of 31st Street South shortly before midnight. During the investigation, officers learned the victim and suspect were involved in a verbal dispute inside the home that turned physical.
Police allege the suspect brandished a firearm during the confrontation before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported. Detectives later identified the suspect and obtained a warrant charging him with brandishing. The investigation remains ongoing.
