At approximately 7:52 a.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the report of a breaking and entering. The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect allegedly gained entry to the residential building, opened packages and stole items. Responding officers located the suspect in the stairwell of the building, took him into custody without incident and recovered the stolen property. Jamie Marquez-Banegas, 21, of Falls Church, VA was arrested and charged with Burglary and Drunk in Public. He was held without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
