At approximately 4:39 a.m. on May 18, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside his residence when he heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the male suspect inside his home. The victim confronted the suspect, who allegedly implied a weapon and fled the scene. A lookout was broadcast, and an officer observed an individual matching the description of the suspect in the area of King Street and S. Walter Reed Drive and detained him. During the course of the investigation, suspected narcotics were recovered. Steven Anderson, 61, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Burglary, Assault and Battery and Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance.
