At approximately 3:12 a.m. on May 31, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim returned home and observed damage to the outside of his residence and subsequently located the suspect inside his home. Responding officers established a perimeter and conducted a search of the home during which they located the suspect and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, property damage to the home was observed. Raul Trejo Serpas, 28, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Burglary and Destruction of Property.
