Police responded to a reported burglary in the 100 block of S. Irving Street around midday on December 22. According to the initial investigation, a male suspect forcibly entered a residence, causing property damage in the process. Once inside, he reportedly stole various items, including jewelry and electronics, before fleeing the scene.
Officers canvassed the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect. Witnesses described the suspect as a tall, skinny Black male who was wearing a gray knit cap, a dark long coat, light-colored pants, and bright shoes.
The Arlington County Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
