At approximately 6:37 p.m. on January 2, police were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim, who was operating as a delivery driver, was returning to his idling vehicle when he was approached by 4-5 male suspects. One suspect struck the victim, brandished a firearm and demanded his property. The suspects then stole the victim’s cell phone and fled the scene in his vehicle which contained his wallet and credit cards. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was subsequently recovered in Washington, DC. The suspects are described as 4-5 Black males approximately 20 – 25 years old. The investigation is ongoing.
