Time: Approximately 3:29 a.m. and 3:32 a.m. on January 23, 2026
In the early hours of January 23, Arlington police responded to multiple commercial burglaries along Columbia Pike. At 3:29 a.m., a suspect shattered a window of a closed business in the 5500 block before fleeing. Just minutes later, at 3:32 a.m., another nearby business in the 5000 block was broken into after a window was shattered. The suspect reportedly rummaged inside and stole merchandise before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a dark-colored hoodie and light-colored pants. Investigators are continuing to work on identifying the individual responsible.
