Police are searching for a robbery suspect following an incident at a Columbia Pike business.
According to investigators, the suspect attempted to leave the store with unpaid merchandise. When confronted by an employee, he allegedly threatened the worker and spat on them before fleeing on foot.
The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a Black male about 5-foot-8, wearing a striped shirt, red shorts, a dark bucket hat and sunglasses.
The case remains under investigation.
