A juvenile male reported being robbed by a group of youths in the 1000 block of South Hayes Street, according to Arlington County police.
An officer working a crime prevention detail was flagged down by the victim, who stated he was inside a business when he was approached by five juvenile male suspects known to him.
Police say the victim attempted to run away, but the group followed him and stole articles of his clothing before fleeing on foot.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects were described as juvenile Black males dressed entirely in black clothing. Detectives continue to investigate the incident and are working to identify those involved.
