Arlington County Police responded to Rocky Run Park at approximately 4:39 p.m. for a robbery that reportedly occurred about 30 minutes earlier.
Police said a juvenile male was outside when approximately six juvenile males in their teens approached him. Most of the suspects were known to the victim.
Three suspects allegedly displayed what appeared to be BB guns and demanded the victim’s belongings. One suspect then allegedly fired a BB gun, striking the victim, before the group fled.
The victim reported minor injuries but did not require medical treatment. Officers searching the area detained four juvenile males matching the suspects’ descriptions. They were identified and released pending further investigation.
