Police were called to the area of N. Quincy Street and Wilson Boulevard for a missing juvenile report that quickly turned into a robbery investigation. Authorities determined that a juvenile male victim had been riding his scooter when another juvenile approached, shoved him off, and stole the scooter.
The victim was unharmed and attempted to chase the suspect. When family members were unable to locate him, they contacted police. Officers later found the victim in the 1500 block of N. Stafford Street.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male between 13 and 14 years old wearing all black clothing, remains at large. The investigation is ongoing.
