A disturbing late-night attack was reported to police several hours after it occurred near the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard. A female victim told officers that at approximately 1:50 a.m., a male suspect approached her, engaged in a brief conversation, and then left.
As the victim attempted to leave the area, the suspect returned, assaulted her, and stole a piece of clothing. He then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 to 39 years old. The investigation remains ongoing.
