At approximately 1:06 p.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect and male victim became involved in a verbal dispute outside of a business when the suspect struck the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male with dreadlocks and a mustache, approximately 5’8”, wearing a gray shirt and black shorts. The investigation is ongoing.
