At approximately 10:20 p.m. on March 2, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the female victim was walking in the area when she was approached by a group of individuals and a verbal dispute ensued. During the dispute, the female suspect allegedly deployed pepper spray, striking the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated by medics on scene. Responding officers located the suspect at the scene and took her into custody. Katherine Johnson, 19, of Fairfax Va. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance. She was held without bond.
