At approximately 2:55 p.m. on December 31, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim and male suspect were each driving their vehicles when they became involved in a dispute at the intersection of Crystal Drive and Potomac Avenue. The victim and suspect then parked and exited their vehicles in the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road where a physical altercation ensued during which the suspect struck the victim with an unknown object, causing a laceration. The suspect then damaged the victim’s glasses, and stole the victim’s electronics before fleeing the scene in his vehicle described as a gray Toyota Camry. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined transport to the hospital by medics. The suspect is described as an Indian male, approximately 28 years old, 5’9”, 180-190 pounds, with short black hair. The investigation is ongoing.
