At approximately 12:15 a.m. On April 4, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. It was determined at approximately 11:50 p.m. on April 3, the male suspect approached the male victim outside of the business and a verbal dispute ensued. The male suspect then allegedly assaulted the victim, causing him to fall on the ground, before a witness intervened. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention at the scene. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers located an individual matching the description of the suspect in the 4700 block of King Street and took the suspect into custody. The suspect, who was determined to have been previously banned from the business, was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. Once released, John Williams, 34, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Trespassing. He was held without bond.
