At approximately 5:04 a.m. on February 14, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates that on February 13, the parties were inside a residence when Suspect One, who is known to the two victims, allegedly left and used Victim One’s vehicle without authorization. At approximately 5:00 a.m. on February 14, Suspect One returned to the residence with Suspect Two, during which a verbal dispute ensued. Suspect One then struck Victim Two with a glass bottle, resulting in a laceration, and Suspect Two brandished what appeared to be a firearm. Suspects One and Two then fled the scene on foot and responding officers located them in the area. Victim Two sustained minor injuries and was treated and released on scene by medics. Suspect One sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Anthony Walker, 32, of Washington D.C. was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Clinton Gatlin, 30, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Brandishing and Obstruction of Justice. Both suspects were held without bond.
