At approximately 10:42 p.m. on August 28, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when the male suspect, approached, assaulted him and pepper sprayed him before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’8”, 200 – 300 pounds, wearing a green sweater and brown pants. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
