A trespassing investigation resulted in multiple charges after a suspect allegedly attempted to disarm a police officer during an arrest.
Police say officers responded to reports of a trespasser in a parking garage where the suspect had previously been banned. When officers attempted to take him into custody, he allegedly became combative and attempted to grab an officer’s weapon.
Anthony Johnson Jr., 27, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Attempt to Disarm an Officer, Trespassing, Obstruction of Justice, Public Intoxication and Destruction of Property.
He was held without bond.
