A 41-year-old man was arrested after Arlington County police say he bit two officers and attempted to take an officer’s baton during an incident at a business on S. Glebe Road.
Police responded at approximately 6:58 p.m. to a report of a disorderly subject. Investigators allege the male suspect entered a business and exposed himself. A responding officer detained the man and escorted him outside.
As officers attempted to take the suspect into custody, police say he became agitated, bit two officers and attempted to disarm an officer of their baton. An officer deployed a Taser, and the suspect was taken into custody.
Medics evaluated the suspect for injuries associated with the Taser deployment.
Kenneth Gray, 41, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Attempted Disarming of a Law Enforcement Officer, two counts of Assault on Police, Indecent Exposure, Public Masturbation, Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Justice.
Police said Gray was held without bond.
