ARLINGTON, VA — A 30-year-old man was arrested after a firearm was allegedly brandished during an encounter on S. Dinwiddie Street, according to police.
Officers responded to the 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street at approximately 1:16 a.m. for a report of a suspicious person. Police said a suspect allegedly approached a man outside, brandished a firearm and then fled in a white sedan.
Police broadcast a lookout for the vehicle, and a responding officer located it traveling in the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined the suspect was an occupant of the vehicle.
The suspect was taken into custody. Police said suspected narcotics were also recovered during the investigation.
Juan Justiniano Dominguez, 30, of Alexandria, Virginia, was charged with brandishing and two counts of possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance.
