Arlington County Police responded to the 1900 block of North Culpeper Street for a reported assault.
Investigators determined that a man was outside when two male suspects approached him from behind and assaulted him, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects then fled.
The victim suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and was transported to a hospital.
Police described the suspects as two men of unknown race in their 20s or 30s who were wearing dark clothing. The investigation remains ongoing.
