At approximately 3:08 p.m. on August 21, police were dispatched to the report of a possible robbery inside a residence. The preliminary investigation indicates the three occupants of the residence, who are known to each other, were involved in a dispute prior to police notification. Responding officers detained the three occupants and, during the course of the investigation, recovered suspected narcotics. Nayarett Ramirez-Yanez, 23, of Valley Stream, NY was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance. She was held without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
