Arlington County Police are investigating a series of vehicle tampering incidents involving nine vehicles inside a secured parking lot on 29th Street South.
Officers responded to the 4200 block of 29th Street South at approximately 7:21 a.m. on October 16 following a report of suspicious circumstances.
Investigators determined that the incidents occurred earlier that morning, at approximately 12:50 a.m., when a male and female suspect allegedly entered the secured parking area.
According to police, the suspects rummaged through the interiors of nine vehicles and displaced a bicycle before leaving the property.
The affected vehicles were of various makes and models. No items were reported stolen.
Police described the male suspect as a Black man wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. The female suspect was described as Hispanic, wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white shoes.
Authorities have not announced any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
