A parking disagreement outside a business on Fairfax Drive escalated into a brandishing incident, prompting a swift police response. According to Arlington County Police, a male victim reported that while walking near the suspect’s vehicle, he saw the man allegedly brandish what appeared to be a firearm before fleeing.
The confrontation had begun moments earlier while both men were inside their vehicles during a dispute over parking. After driving away, the victim encountered the suspect again on foot and witnessed the alleged weapon display.
Police broadcast a lookout and conducted a neighborhood search but initially found no trace of the suspect. However, during the early morning hours of November 20, Alexandria Police located and detained the suspect near S. Walker Street and Stevenson Avenue in Alexandria. A BB gun was recovered during the arrest.
Trent McCracken, 35, of Alexandria, VA, was taken into custody and charged with Brandishing. He is being held without bond.
