Pentagon City Incident Leads to Assault on Police Charges

An incident at the Pentagon City Metro Station on December 11 led to the arrest of two Washington, D.C. men following a confrontation with Arlington County Police.

According to authorities, an officer assigned to a crime prevention detail observed a man wearing a face covering inside the Metro station and requested he remove it. The individual ignored the commands and attempted to flee the area. When the officer tried to detain the suspect, a second man allegedly grabbed the officer from behind in an apparent attempt to interfere with the arrest.

Additional officers quickly responded and successfully detained both individuals. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Dalonte Davis, 25, of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with Wearing a Mask in Public and Obstruction of Justice.
Alonzo Davis, also 25 and of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with Assault on Police, Wearing a Mask in Public, and Obstruction of Justice.
