Pepper Spray Attempt After Crash at Arlington Boulevard and S. George Mason Drive

A road rage incident near Arlington Boulevard and S. George Mason Drive led to an arrest after a driver allegedly tried to pepper spray another man following a crash.

Arlington County police said the victim and suspect were both driving in the area when the suspect allegedly rear-ended the victim’s vehicle. After the victim got out and approached the suspect’s window, the suspect allegedly rolled the window down and attempted to pepper spray him before taking off.

No injuries were reported.

Investigators later identified the suspect and found him in the 3700 block of Columbia Pike, where he was taken into custody. Police arrested Eduardo Soler, 46, of Arlington, and charged him with attempted malicious wounding by caustic substance.
