The Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in the Crystal City neighborhood. Dave Jobson, a 63-year-old resident of Florida, has been charged with Bank Robbery and is currently being held in Washington, D.C., pending extradition to Virginia.
The incident took place at approximately 11:37 a.m. on August 5, at the Bank of America located at 1425 S. Eads Street. The suspect reportedly entered the bank, handed a note to the teller demanding money, and implied that he had a weapon. While no weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported, the suspect managed to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Following an investigation, authorities identified Jobson as the suspect. He was apprehended in Washington, D.C. on August 6 with the assistance of the Metro Transit Police Department.
