Arlington County police are investigating a sexual battery reported online on March 6 that occurred last month outside a residential building.
Investigators say the incident took place around 10:30 p.m. on February 13 when a woman was outside the building in the 3400 block of Fairfax Drive.
A man reportedly approached the victim from behind, touched her buttocks, and then fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a man of unknown race wearing a white jacket and a red hat.
The investigation remains ongoing.
