Arlington County police are searching for a woman accused of brandishing what appeared to be a firearm during a confrontation inside a parking garage Friday afternoon.
Police said the incident occurred around 1:23 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Hayes Street. The victim was entering the garage in her vehicle when she became involved in a dispute with another woman who was also driving.
According to investigators, the suspect pulled alongside the victim, exited her vehicle, displayed what appeared to be a firearm, and made threatening statements before leaving the area in a blue sedan.
No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 25 years old, driving a blue sedan. The investigation remains ongoing.
