At approximately 6:10 p.m. on February 12, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise in a bag and exited the store without payment. Loss prevention personnel then confronted the suspect outside the business and a struggle ensued over the duffle bag during which the suspect pushed the loss prevention personnel, causing them to fall on the ground. The suspect subsequently fled the scene with the stolen merchandise. The loss prevention personnel sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 6’3”, wearing all black clothing and carrying a black duffle bag. The investigation is ongoing.
