At approximately 5:07 p.m. on March 2, police were dispatched to the report of a brandishing. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect lifted his jacket to display what appeared to be the handle of a firearm in his waistband before fleeing the scene on foot with the stolen merchandise. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a white baseball cap, black jacket, black jeans and white sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
