At approximately 6:50 p.m. on February 17, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male victims were inside an establishment when they were approached by a group of approximately 6-7 seven male subjects in their late teens or early 20s. One male suspect from the group demanded the victims’ personal belongings and one victim refused. The suspect then displayed what appeared to be a firearm before stealing one victim’s cell phone and the other victim’s personal property before fleeing the scene on foot with the other subjects. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the group yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a thin-built Black male, approximately 5’10” wearing all-black clothing. The subjects are described as Black males wearing all-black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
