At approximately 12:43 p.m. on March 24, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to exit without payment during which he was confronted by an employee. The suspect then made threatening statements and brushed past the employee before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male in his mid-20’s with mid-length dreadlocks wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
