At approximately 9:33 p.m. on August 22, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment during which an employee confronted her. The suspect then made threatening statements towards the employee and displayed a pair of scissors before entering a red vehicle and fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black female, approximately 30-40 years old, 5’7” wearing all dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
