At approximately 4:54 a.m. on February 24, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect and male victim, who are acquaintances, were inside a building when the suspect assaulted the victim and a struggle ensued. The suspect then implied a knife and stole the victim’s cellphone and an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention. The suspect is described as a Black male with a thin beard, approximately 5’9”, 140 pounds, wearing a white jacket, black t-shirt and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
