At approximately 6:55 p.m. on October 3, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect allegedly entered the business, approached the counter with a metal object and threatened to hit an employee with it. The suspect then went behind the counter and stole cigarettes before subsequently exiting the store without payment. Responding officers observed an individual matching the description of the suspect in the area of Wilson Boulevard and took him into custody. Vladimir Bondarenko, 66, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.
