ROBBERY: 2000 block of Clarendon Boulevard Arlington VA

At approximately 2:14 p.m. on December 27, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise, and exited the store without paying for the items. When confronted by an employee outside the business, the suspect assaulted the employee before loading some of the stolen merchandise into a black sedan, driven by a female suspect, and fleeing the scene in the vehicle. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspects yielding negative results. The male suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old with dark facial hair and a mustache, with a thin build, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing an orange jacket, light colored hoodie, and a white or cream-colored beanie. The female suspect is described as a white female with long brown hair wearing a gray sweatshirt. The investigation is ongoing.
