At approximately 3:23 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with a weapon. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was outside when he was approached by the male suspect who demanded his wallet. When the victim refused, the suspect struck the victim with a knife, causing a laceration and fled the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
