At approximately 6:08 p.m. on December 23, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile male victim was inside a shared common area of a residential building when he was approached by the two juvenile male suspects, who are known to him. Suspect One brandished what appeared to be a firearm before the suspects stole the victim’s bag and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Petitions were sought for Suspect One for Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. A petition was sought for Suspect Two for Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. The investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
