At approximately 12:07 p.m. on May 23, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. The preliminary investigation indicates the male victim was walking in a parking garage when he observed the male suspect looking into his parked vehicle. A dispute ensued, during which the suspect assaulted the victim and stole his phone. The suspect then assaulted a second victim as he was fleeing the scene on foot. Victim One was treated on scene by medics and Victim Two did not sustain injury. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6’4″ and 230 pounds wearing a white collared shirt and plaid pants. The investigation is ongoing.
